At It Takes A Village, our mission is to uncover the gifts and talents of students so that they can reach their fullest potential.
We strive to foster a love of learning in each student that comes through our educational community. Recognizing that each child has unique talents, learning styles and personalities, we provide a comprehensive approach to early childhood education by continuously evaluating and serving the unique needs of children, families, and communities.

Infant & Toddler Care
Our birth to age 3 program utilizes the Creative Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers to offer a nurturing, safe, child-centered environment in which the child leads based upon their natural curiosity.

Our ages 3 to 5 program provides more than the skills necessary for children to succeed in elementary school. Our emphasis is on compassionate, social-emotional development, and in building the foundation for a love of learning and academics.

Headstart Program
At the beginning of each academic year, our students’ education foundation is expanded through a year-long exploration of the socio-cultural, political, and economic histories of a Community of Focus e.g. Panama. During this international expedition, our students engage in cultural exchanges with other children of the world, develop new friendships that extend beyond the boundaries of their communities, and acquire first-hand knowledge about the challenges that other communities face. For Village Leadership Academy students, “The World is the Classroom.”
